unit 8

I actually feel that all of the practices we've learned from this course have been beneficial, though the practices I would personally feel more connected to were the subtle mind, and meditation. Utlize certain breathing techniques while maintaining a firm concentration & focus on my focal point helps the mind respond while helping mental activity settle down, gradually ease up on your breath, you will notice that you are spending more time witnessing your mental activity and less time uncontrollably immersed. The practice basically helps teach stability and is the ground for us in life. I feel that it's a really good practice to use to relax in those quiet moments.

I feel that meditation has helped out very much as well as it help eliminate any negative thoughts and it helps you open up to the more positive thoughts and emotions in life as well as helping the mind feel free and experience an ultimate well-being. Loving kindness enhances with mental and psychological while helping with physical well being by help out with flourish the body and mind. I'm glad that i've taken this course to enhance my mind to a limitness amount of effects that I thought weren't even possible to imagine.

  1. John,

It is so good to hear that you are feeling so many benefits from the exercises like meditation and subtle mind. They are great tools not only for yourself but to pass along to others. When spread by word of mouth, these exercises and ultimately higher levels of consciousness is a great way to get more and more people to come together and abolish hatred. I wish you the best of luck and thank you for your thoughtful posts!

  3. John,
I have also benefited from the endless wonderful things meditation can bring. Meditation is also completely FREE! So no excuse not to meditate. It requires no special equipment, and is not complicated to learn. It can be done anywhere, anytime, and it is not time consuming (15-20 min. per day is good enough). Best of all, meditation has NO negative side effects.

Thank you for your enlightening posts!
